Joshua Webb to Take Part in Envision’s NYLF Law & CSI Program
Joshua Webb '19 will join outstanding school students from across the nation to take part in a unique academic and career oriented development experience. Joshua will participate in NYLF Law & CSI Program, out of Washington D.C. and benefitting from college credit from George Mason University the week of July 8-13, 2019.
NYLF Law & CSI is one of the Envision family of programs (www.envisionexperience.com) that enable students to explore their interests and experience learning beyond the classroom. Joshua will have hands on experience in evidence analysis and courtroom simulations. He will explore in-depth the judicial process, by visiting the local courthouse and observing proceedings, listening to a panel of professionals from law firms and receiving instruction to the law school trajectory.
Joshua Webb is an outstanding student at Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria Va. He’s a leader in his school, community and church. He volunteers his time with Best Buddies, Gerald Mayhan Ministries and at Christ Chapel Church. An astute thinker and advocator his interest in LAW began with his studies at Bishop Ireton H.S.. In addition to his passion for advocacy and helping people, he serves as Captain of the Cardinal’s football team and wrestles. Joshua is looking forward to this hands-on experience in the court room this summer while gaining college credit from George Mason University.
NYLF Law & CSI is a great opportunity for high-achieving scholars to get outside the classroom and see, through hands-on interactive learning, how to innovate and think creatively,” said Andrew Potter, the Chief Academic Officer for Envision. “These students, who have already proven themselves academically, will be challenged to work on real-world, student-created projects to bring their studies and career interests to life.”
